Oliver Walter is a San Francisco-based photographer and writer. He is currently an undergraduate student at the University of St. Andrews in St. Andrews, Scotland where he studies international relations and sustainable development.
Taking an early interest in street photography, Oliver has broadened his work to include fashion, event, and journalism photography. Shooting on both film and digital formats, his work is creative in both content and format.
As a writer, Oliver’s work reflects his academic interests at the intersections between international relations, sustainable development, and climate change. In the past he has written for student-run publications including the Foreign Affairs Review and UnEarth Magazine, and he now serves as Editor-in-Chief of UnEarth. He also currently serves as the publicity officer for St. Andrews Mountaineering Club.
